About

I’m a woman on a mission: to defy the stereotype of my generation. I’m a twenty-something with a lot of goals and no idea how to reach them, but that’s okay!

Age is a number, not a label; the possibilities are endless. So here I stand, on the edge, ready to jump! Combining a few passions through my favorite medium–writing–I’m off on an adventure to find passion in the little things. Stay tuned, I have no idea where this is going!

A bit about me:

I graduated from the University of Washington, majoring in Early Childhood & Family Studies with a minor focus on Nutritional Sciences. So far I’ve done nothing with this, but who knows what the future may hold.

I spent 4 years working at a coffee shop, making my way from Barista to Cafe Manager. I gained an understanding of small business, a passion for coffee, and invaluable relationships on that journey. I would consider it my first and only “adult job” thus far, and it was truly the best.

I was 18 when I married my high school sweetheart. At 24, we divorced. We spent 8 wonderful years together, and I have no regrets.

As the reality of my divorce set in, I fell into the most unexpected and amazing relationship with a man I could never have even dreamed of. My house has truly never felt this much like a home, and he’s all to thank for that.

After many a miscarriage, and only a little hope of conceiving, we welcomed a baby girl in July of 2018. The little miss is named Evelyn Lena, and she is our whole world. So when I inevitably don’t update this for a while, blame her.

It’s nice to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out
of date rehashed material. Wonderful read! I’ve saved your site and I’m
